CALL TO ORDER The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a special meeting in the Council Chambers, 11350 Bullis Road, Lynwood, CA on the above date at 5:00 p.m. Mayor Solache presiding. Item #2. CERTIFICATION OF AGENDA POSTING BY CITY CLERK City Clerk Quinonez announced the agenda had been duly posted in accordance with the Brown Act. Item #3. ROLL CALL OF COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS ALATORRE, CASTRO, SANTILLAN-BEAS, AND MAYOR SOLACHE ABSENT: MAYOR PRO TEM HERNANDEZ STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Martinez, City Attorney Tapia and City Clerk Quinonez ABSENT: City Treasurer Camacho Item #4. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was postponed to the regular meeting at 6:00 p.m. Item #5. INVOCATION The invocation was postponed to the regular meeting at 6:00 p.m. PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS (Regarding Agenda Items Only) NONE CITY COUNCIL ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION NONE CLOSED SESSION City Attorney Tapia led the City Council into closed session. Lynwood City Council Regular Closed Session Meeting Minutes—February 20, 2018 MOTION: It was moved by Council Member Castro, seconded by Council Member Santillan-Beas to recess to closed session at 5:02 p.m. Motion carried by unanimous consent. AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS ALATORRE, CASTRO, SANTILLAN-BEAS, AND MAYOR SOLACHE NOES: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE ABSENT: MAYOR PRO TEM HERNANDEZ The City Council reconvened into open session at 5:55 p.m. Item #6. CLOSED SESSION ITEMS City Attorney Tapia reported on the following items: A. With respect to every item of business to be discussed in closed session pursu- ant to Government Code Section 54956.9: CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL —ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to paragraph (2) of subdivision (d) of Section 54956.9: Number of Cases: Three (3) There was no reportable action on either case. ADJOURNMENT Having no further discussion, it was moved by Council Member Alatorre, seconded by Council Member Santillan-Beas to adjourn the regular Lynwood City Council meeting at 5:55 p.m. Motion carried by unanimous consent.
