Resolution adopted by the Tybee City Council requesting that the Chatham County Recreation Authority (the “Authority”) issue its revenue bonds for the purpose of refunding the Series
2006 Bonds. Also authorizing the publication of the three-week notice required by Ga. Laws 1995, p. 4281 et seq., that a public hearing be held on July 14, 2016, to consider entering
into an intergovernmental lease agreement with the Authority.
Friday, June 10
Meeting of the Authority for the purposes of adopting a resolution giving preliminary approval of the issuance of its Refunding Revenue Bonds, Series 2016 (the “Series 2016 Bonds”),
authorizing entering into an intergovernmental lease agreement with the City of Tybee (the “City”), authorizing the validation of the Series 2016 Bonds, and authorizing the publication
of the 30 day notice required by Ga. Laws 1996, p. 4281 et seq., that the Authority will meet and vote on July 14, 2016, giving final approval of issuance of the Series 2016 Bonds.
Week of June 13
Publish the required first notice of the City public hearing and the notice of the Authority described above. File for validation of the Series 2016 Bonds.
Week of June 20
Publish first notice of validation and second notice of City public hearing.
Week of June 27
Publish second notice of validation and third notice of City public hearing.
Week of July 4
Conduct validation hearing.
Thursday, July 14
Execution of bond purchase agreement.
Public hearing held by the City and adoption of resolution approving execution of the intergovernmental lease agreement.
Meeting of the Authority and adoption of bond resolution.
Week of July 18
Distribution of draft closing papers.
Week of July 26
Pre-closing and closing.

Redemption of Series 2006 Bonds.
