Member said that she liked the orange outline. The other members agreed.
Member Carroll said that she liked the background of the hills/mountain in contrasting colors.
Member McKee said that they would look good as two variations of a color or the same color.
She gave the example of blue and gray looking weird but not dark gary or light gray.
Member Carroll said that she didn’t like the one that was all black with the light gray mountains
because it felt boring.
Ms. Campbell asked if the group wanted solid yellow sunburst or the gradient with orange.
The members agreed solid yellow. Members discussed again making the logos larger.
V. Review and comment on draft Downtown/West Hillsborough Map and overall Hillsborough map
Member Carroll said that there is some parking shown that is private that is shown as if it were
public which may be problematic.
Ms. Campbell noted to revise and update the public parking available around town and not to
include private lots.
Members pointed out the locations of attractions and various items that would need to be
included that were missing.
Member Carroll wondered to the group if they should note any of the more grand historic
homes?
Member McKee said that it would maybe be something that would be in a separate publication.
She said that she doesn’t know that the owners would all be comfortable with doing that.
Members discussed whether or not to show all services, because salons/spas are shown, but not
insurance sales or gyms. Member Tesoro said that some business owners may get upset if they
aren’t listed.
