A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING A
SUCCESSION PLAN AND APPROPRIATING $10,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND
FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is committed to its workforce and ensuring
that employees are developed to meet current and future organizational needs; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to create a Succession Plan that will
identify and develop high potential employees to fill critical management vacancies in the
future; and
WHEREAS, as part of the Succession Plan, the City seeks to create a Leadership
Training and Development Program for employees; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.. That the City Council adopts the Succession Plan attached herein;
and.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood authorize the City Manager
or Designee to appropriate monies from the unappropriated General Fund to cover cost
of the development of the program.
Section 3. That the City Council approves the following appropriation:

1011 Budget Fund Balance ($10,000)
1011 35 335 62015 Employee Training Program $10,000
