A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO ADJUST THE FY 2018-19 SALARY ALLOCATION
FOR POSITIONS WITHIN THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, as pad of the FY 2018-19 budget adoption, the salary of the Deputy Finance
Director and Senior Management Analyst were funded 70% Water and 30% Sewer; and
WHEREAS, upon further analysis, staff determined that allocations should be adjusted to
70% General, 25% Water and 5% Sewer Fund; and
WHEREAS, staff is recommending that the salary allocations of the Deputy Finance
Director and Senior Management Analyst be adjusted to better fit duties within the department;
and
WHEREAS, the adjustment of the salary allocation for the Deputy Finance Director and
Senior Management Analyst position will change from both the Water and Sewer Funds from 70%
and 30% to 25% and 5% respectively with the offset to the City's General Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes the City Manager or his designee to adjust the
salary allocation of the Deputy Finance Director and Senior Management Analyst positions to
70%, 25% and 5% for the General, Water and Sewer Funds, respectively.
Section 2. The City Council approves the following appropriation:

Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City Council
Resolution.
