Gonzalez, Village Manager Date: October 30, 2015 Subject: The Brickman Group Bi-Weekly Collins Avenue Report for the Weeks of October 19, 2015 through October 29, 2015 The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to transmit to you the first scheduled Bi- Weekly report which details the landscape services provided to Bal Harbour Village by The Brickman Group. During the October 20, 2015 Bal Harbour Village Council meeting, the request was made to provide you with a reoccurring report that details the work performed along the Collins Avenue corridor by our full service landscape maintenance provider, The Brickman Group (Brickman). This initial reporting period provides information regarding the scheduled maintenance activities and any additional services provided by Brickman such as, new plant installations and landscape restoration work performed by the contractor beginning on Monday October 19 through Thursday October 29, 2015. Going forward, these reports will be submitted for your information bi-weekly on the second Friday and last Friday of each month. Scheduled Maintenance Activities During this period, Brickman provided; turf mowing, daily litter/frond debris removal, irrigation inspections and repairs along with pest control services within the entire corridor as scheduled. Additionally, Date Palm fruit and frond pruning services were completed along Collins Avenue. Additional Services In area of additional services provided; Brickman continued the relocation and new planting of fourteen (14) Date Palms to replace ones lost to disease and the removal replacement of identified infected Date Palms.
