RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE,
FLORIDA; APPROVING ROOFING PERMIT FEE;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Metro -Dade County Board of County Commissioners
imposed Building Code revisions which took effect on June 1, 1993
which mandate rigorous roofing plan review, roofing inspections and
testing; and
WHEREAS, the current fee schedule does not provide for costs
associated with enforcing said building code requirements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF KEY
BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The Building Permit fee schedule is hereby amended
as follows:
Roofing (including re -roofing)
- Up to 400 square feet $ 50.00
- 401 to 1,000 square feet $ 50.00
+ (area - 400 square feet) x $ 00.07
- 1001 and over square feet $ 92.00
+ (area - 1000 square feet) x $ 00.05
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately
upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of June , 1993.
