Gonzalez, Village Manager 4 - Date: November 13, 2015 (Jl Subject: Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) - Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to inform you of that the Village has received the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reportig for the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the Fiscal Year Ending September 30, 2014. 1 would like to recognize staff, particularly Amber Riviera, Chief Financial Officer, for the all their hard work and efforts in producing an award -winning CAFR. This is the first time the Village has been bestowed this honor, as far as Village records show. Attached is the certificate which will be presented to the Village at the November 17, 2015 Council meeting.
