I, Tricia Warren, being duly sworn and say, I am the office manager
of The Star-News, a weekly newspaper published at McCall, in the County
of Valley, State of Idaho; that said newspaper is in general circulation in the
county of afore said and is a legal newspaper; that the PUBLIC NOTICE, a
copy of which is enclosed hereto and is a part hereof, was published in said
newspaper once a week for a period of one week in the regular and entire
issue of every number there of during the period of time of publication, and
was published in the newspaper proper and not in a supplement; and that
publication of such notice began September 1, 2022 and ended September 1,
2022.

AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED THE FY23 ANNUAL AP-PROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2022, APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $52,166,327 TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF McCALL FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR, AUTHORIZING A LEVY OF A SUFFICIENT TAX.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McCALL, VALLEY COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO:SECTION 1. TITLE: This Ordinance shall be entitled and cited as the “FY23 Annual Appropriation Ordinance of the City of McCall.”SECTION 2. FINDINGS: The City Council finds:A. As required by law, the city has duly noticed and held a public hearing on the 25 day of August 2022 for a pro-posed Budget for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 (FY23) for the City of McCall, Idaho; andB. That the sum of $52,166,327 be, and the same is, ap-propriated to defray the necessary expenses and liabilities of the City of McCall, Valley County, State of Idaho for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2022.C. That the appropriations and sums of money as are hereinafter set forth in Section 3 are deemed necessary to defray all the necessary expenses and liabilities of the City of McCall for FY23.SECTION 3. ADOPTION OF THE BUDGET AND APPRO-PRIATION OF EXPENDITURE: The City Council hereby adopts the budget and the appropriation of expenditures for the City of McCall, Idaho, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2022, and ending September 30, 2023 the ob-jects for which such appropriation is made, and the amount of each object and purpose is as follows:
SECTION 4. TAX LEVY: That a general tax levy on all tax-able property within the City of McCall be levied in an amount allowed by law for the general purposes for said City, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2022.SECTION 5. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.SECTION 6.The City Clerk is directed to forthwith publish this Ordinance and file a certified copy of the same with the office of the Secretary of State of the State of Idaho as provided in I.C. §50-1003 and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon its passage, approval and publication in one issue of The Star-News, a newspaper for general circulation of the City of McCall, and the official newspaper of said City.Passed and Approved by the Mayor and Council of the City Of McCall, Idaho, under suspension of rules upon which a roll call vote was taken and duly enacted an Ordinance of the City of McCall, Valley County, Idaho at a convened meeting of the City of McCall City Council held on the 25th day of August 2022.Robert S.
