A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE USE OF THE BATEMAN HALL AUDITORIUM AND WAIVING THE BASE
RENTAL FEES IN THE AMOUNT OF $292
WHEREAS, a request was made by Lynwood's Century Station to host an event
at the Bateman Hall Auditorium via a fee waiver; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the event is to host the Deputy Didier M. Hurdle
Memorial Freeway Dedication Ceremony; and
WHEREAS, the event is proposed to take place on Thursday, January 17, 2019.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council for the City of Lynwood finds and declares that the
foregoing recitals are true and correct, and incorporates said recitals fully into this
Resolution as substantive findings.
Section 2. The City Council approves the use of the City facility as requested
and the waiver of relative, facility base rental fees valued at $292.
Section 3. The City Council further finds that this request provides an important
public purpose of benefit to Lynwood residents and businesses.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 18th day of December 2018.
