Subject: Bal Harbour Police Department - Holiday Toy Drive
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to inform you that the Bal Harbour Police
Department (BHPD), Coastal Construction and the Safety Alliance for Excellence are
coordinating a Holiday Toy Drive to benefit the Miami Children's Hospital Foundation.
Collection boxes have been placed in Village Hall, the Bal Harbour Police Station, the Bal
Harbour Shops and St. Regis Residence to accept unwrapped toys for children of all ages.
The BHPD has been conducting community outreach for this initiative, and have been
notifying residents, who have traditionally participated in this annual effort.
In mid -December, BHPD representatives will be delivering toys to Nicklaus Children's
Hospital as part of this initiative.
