THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, JANUARY 3, 2013
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5:00 P.M.,
Thursday, January 3, 2013, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 50 North 5th
Street, Richmond, Indiana. In attendance were Board Members Vicki Robinson and Tony
Foster. Also attending were City Attorney Walt Chidester and Assistant City Attorney Kim
Vessels.
The following business was conducted:
CALL TO ORDER
Ms. Robinson called the meeting to order and noted for the minutes that (2) two board members
and legal counsel were present
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Foster moved to approve the December 20, 2012 minutes with a second by Ms. Robinson.
The motion was unanimously passed.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
The claims for payment for December 28, 2012 are in the amount of $336,652.76. Mr. Foster
moved to approve with a second by Ms. Robinson. The motion was unanimously passed. The
claims for payment for January 4, 2013 are in the amount of $31,470.20. Mr. Foster moved to
approve with a second by Ms. Robinson. The motion was unanimously passed.
BOARD APPOINTMENT
A. Mr. Foster moved to approve Dick Foore as the Board's appointment to the Plan
Commission with a second by Ms. Robinson. The motion was unanimously passed.
CONTRACT
A. Contract No. 4 -2013 is with Walt Chidester and the law firm Boston Bever Klinge
Cross and Chidester to provide legal services for the City of Richmond. Mr. Foster
moved to approve with a second by Ms. Robinson. The motion was unanimously
passed.

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed unanimously. The
meeting was adjourned.
