RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HART - FREDERICK CONSULTANTS, CITY
ENGINEER, TO PROCEED WITH PREPARING A CONCEPT FOR THE OLD TOWN
URBANIZATION IN AND FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IA.
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin recognizes the importance of obtaining information
regarding Tiffin's Old Town Urbanization;
WHEREAS, this project would encompass a Topographical Survey of Tiffin's OId Town
(excluding Roberts Ferry Road & Brown Street (alley)), drainage evaluation, preparation
of a concept and provide a priority list to the council. The cost for this engineering
service shall not exceed $50,000.
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin is desirous for the City Engineer, Hart- Frederick
Consultants P.C. to proceed with Tiffin's OId Town Urbanization.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIFFIN, IOWA, that the City Engineer, Hart- Frederick Consultants P.C., is hereby
ordered to proceed with this service.
On the 26th day of September, 2012 at a meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Coucilperson Ryan introduce Resolution No. 2012 -56, and made a motion for
approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Upton.
AYE: Ryan, Upton, Bartels
NAY: None
ABSENT: None
Whereupon three (3) Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor
Berner declared that the Resolution No. 2012 -56, be adopted and signified his
approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 26th day of September, 2012.
