Subject: Island Chiefs Dinner
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to inform you that the island municipalities,
which include the police departments of Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor, Surfside, Indian Creek,
and North Bay Village, will be hosting the February Miami -Dade County Association of
Chiefs of Police Officer of the Month dinner on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the Indian
Creek Country Club.
The meet and greet reception will begin promptly at 6 :30 pm, followed by the dinner at
7:30 pm. During the dinner, the Association recognizes the officer of the month from
letters of commendation submitted by all police agencies in Miami -Dade County. As one
of the hosting agencies, we would like to extend an invitation to the event for our Mayor
and members of the Village Council.
If you will be in attendance, please notify Chief Flowers directly so that proper
arrangements can be made.
