SPECIAL MEETING
February 15, 2006
The Moab City Council held a Special Meeting on the above date at the
Planning Conference Room of Moab City Offices, located at 217 East
Center Street, Moab, Utah. Mayor David L. Sakrison called the Special
Meeting to order at 3:02 PM. In attendance were Councilmembers Keith
Brewer, Jeffrey Davis and Gregg Stucki. Also in attendance were City
Manager Donna Metzler, City Recorder Rachel Ellison, City Planner
Robert Hugie, Community Development Director David Olsen and
Zoning Administrator Sommar Johnson.
Councilmember Davis moved to approve Approval of Proposed
Ordinance #2006-01 — An Ordinance Amending Section Various
Sections of Chapters 1, 2, 16 and 17 of the Moab Municipal Code
Relating to Land Use as Required by State of Utah's 2005 Land Use and
Development Act 10-9a-101 through 10-9a-803. Councilmember Stucki
seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0 aye.
Councilmember Davis moved to approve the Final Plat for the
Cottonwoods Subdivision Phase III located at 439 to 493 West Williams
Way. Councilmember Stucki seconded the motion. The motion carried
3-0 aye.
Councilmember Stucki moved to approve an Improvements Agreement
by and between the City of Moab and Williams Way LLC.
Councilmember Brewer seconded. The motion carried 3-0 aye by a roll -
call -vote.
Councilmember Davis moved to table Approval of the Preliminary Plat
for Moab 21, LLC Planned Unit Development for property located
northwest of Apple Lane and 400 North. The motion died for lack of a
second.
Councilmember Stucki moved to approve the Preliminary Plat for Moab
21, LLC Planned Unit Development for property located northwest of
Apple Lane and 400 North. Councilmember Brewer seconded the
motion. The motion failed 2-1 aye with Councilmember Davis voting
nay.
Councilmember Brewer moved for adjournment. Councilmember
Stucki seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0 aye.
Mayor Sakrison adjourned the Special Meeting at 3:40 PM.
