The request is to rezone this lot from R-3 multi -family residential to C-1 neighborhood business. No objections were presented to the request. The Planning Staff recommended approval. MILLIGAN City Attorney The above referenced ordinance is a re -zoning of property owned by Rollie and Peggy North, owners of A-1 Lock and Safe Shop which they wish to convert into a parking area for employees of their business which adjoins on the north. The current zoning is R-3 One to Eight Family Residence District. It is necessary to change the zoning to R-2 Limited Commercial District to ac�:oinmodate the proposed use. The ordinance should be referred to Plan Commission for public hearing at its meeting on February 22, 1994. The ordinance should be back to Council for second reading on March 7,1994.
