A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP ON THE SOUTH
SIDE OF COLLEGE CORNER ROAD APPROXIMATELY 300 FEET WEST OF
SALISBURY ROAD
WHEREAS the zoning map designates the south side of College Corner Road
approximately 300 feet west of Salisbury Road as R-4 Multi -Family
Residence District, and
WHEREAS it is desirable to change the zoning designation to C-2 Commercial District
to accommodate the construction of a financial institution office building,,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the zoning designation of the real estate described in attached Exhibit A, commonly known as a
2.056 acre tract in Center Township, Wayne County, Indiana, be and is hereby changed to C-2
Commercial District.
Passed and adopted this day of March, 1994, by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
Being a part of Northeast Quarter of Fractional Section 22, Township 16 North, Range 14 East
in Center Township, Wayne County, Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a p-k nail set on the north line of the Northeast Quarter of said Fractional Section
22, and being the northwest corner of a tract of land owned by Nutmeg Properties, Norman S.
and Mildred L. Bond, as recorded in Deed Record 459, Page 381 on the Office of the Wayne
County Recorder, Wayne County, Indiana, said p-k nail being 286.63 feet west (assuming that
said north line runs east and west) of an iron rod found at the northeast corner of said Northeast
Quarter, and running thence from said beginning point, south 01 degree, 11 minutes and 05
seconds west, along the west line of said Nutmeg property, 190.04 feet to an iron rod set at a
corner of said Nutmeg property, and being on the north line of a tract of land owned by West
Side Splash Club, Inc., as recorded in Deed Record 329, Page 28 in said Recorder's Office;
thence west, along the north line of said Splash Club property, 460.37 feet to an iron rod found
at a corner of said Splash Club property; thence north 05 degrees, 29 minutes and 35 seconds
west, along an east line of said Splash Club property, 190.88 feet to a railroad spike found on the
north line of the Northeast Quarter of said Fractional Section, and being a corner of said Splash
Club property; thence east, along said north line, 482.57feet to the place of beginning, containing
an area of 2.056 acres.
