ORDINANCE NO. 69291
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
AMENDING SECTION 3100 OF THE TEMPLE CITY
MUNICIPAL CODE AND READOPTING THE FIRE
CODE OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES AS THE
FIRE CODE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY.'
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 3100 of the Temple City Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
3100. There is hereby adopted as the Fire Code
of the City of Temple City, except as it is hereafter
amended, Ordinance No. 2947 of the County of Los
Angeles, as amended by County of Los Angeles Ordi-
nance No. 9687 adopting the amendments of the 1967
edition of the Uniform Fire Code of the California
Fire Chiefs Association, and in effect as of
December 20, 1968.
a) Three (3) copies of said Ordinance No.
2947 of the County of Los Angeles, as
amended and in effect as of December 20,
1968, have been deposited with the
office of the City Clerk of the City of
Temple City and shall be at all times
maintained by said Clerk for use and
examination by the public.
All references to Ordinance 2947 (or
specific Sections thereof) in the
following sections of this code shall
refer to Ordinance 2947 as so amended
(and to the corresponding specific section
or sections.)
SECTION 2. The remaining sections of the Temple City
City Code 3100.1 m 3110 shall remain in effect.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect imme-
diately as an emergency ordinance. The City Council
expressly finds that this ordinance is required to take
effective immediately for the immediate preservation of
public safety in the prevention of fires.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same
to be published in the Temple City Times, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published and circulated in
the City of Temple City.

ordinance at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Temple City, held on the 2nd day of September •
1969, and was duly passed, approved and adopted by said
Council, approved and signed by the Mayor and attested by
the City Clerk, by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen - Beckley, Briggs, Merritt, Tyrell, Harker
