RE: Ordinance 23-1994
Dear Council Member:
ROGER CORNETT
Mayor
THOMAS S. MILLIGAN
City Attorney
The 99 foot by 67 foot parcel of real estate shown on attached exhibit A, marked by shading and the
numerals "26", was acquired by Donald E. and Elizabeth F. Mull in February 1969.
All land except the above parcel located between Sim Hodgin Parkway and the west fork of the east
fork of Whitewater River and west of Bridge Avenue was acquired by the City and developed into
Bicentennial Park. Mrs. Mull is now sole owner of the parcel and wishes to donate it to the City for
inclusion in the park.
The City has agreed to pay approximately $80 in real estate taxes currently a lien on subject property
and will be obligated to pay 1994 taxes payable in 1995. Thereafter the property will no longer be
assessed for property taxes.
This ordinance can be passed on all three readings in a single meeting with motions to suspend rules.
Sincerely yours,
Thomas S. Milligan
City Attorney
