The Code Enforcement Unit assisted Public Works by citing eight construction sites in violation of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) protocols. Copies of the violations were forwarded to the Public Works Department for follow-up inspections. Code Enforcement Officers issued written code violation warnings to five construction sites for failure to maintain the properties within acceptable standards. The CEOs continue their support of Patrol operations by covering posts along the beach walking paths and assisting with traffic details as necessary.
