A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR REZONING OF
PAD WITH UNDERLYING R4 FOR JOHNSTON PROPERTY
Whereas, The City has received a request to rezone all of Johnston property to a PAD
with underlying R4 zoning, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that the purchase agreement
from MMS Consultants to purchase said Johnston property is pending the approval of
the rezoning getting completed;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the
public hearing date for the rezoning of the Johnston property.
On the 10th day of October, 2012, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2012 -61, A RESOLUTION
SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR REZONING OF PAD WITH
UNDERLYING R4 FOR JOHNSTON PROPERTY and made a motion for approval.
Motion seconded by Councilperson Bartels.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Ryan
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon 3 Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2012 -61, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR
PUBLIC HEARING FOR REZONING OF PAD WITH UNDERLYING R4 FOR
JOHNSTON PROPERTY to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 10th day of October, 2012.
