AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FIXING THE ANNUAL COMPENSATION
OF ALL ELECTED CITY OFFICERS FOR 1995
WHEREAS Indiana Code 34-4-7-2 requires Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, to fix the annual compensation of all elected city officers by ordinance,
and
WHEREAS this ordinance has been published two times in the Palladium -Item newspaper,
Richmond, Indiana, with the first such publication taking place Friday, August
19, 1994, and the second such publication taking place Friday, August 26,
1994, and
WHEREAS such first publication took place at least 30 days before final passage hereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that bi-weekly compensation for 1995 of the Mayor be $1,977.23, the City Clerk be
$1,406.69, the President of Common Council be $366.90, the Chairperson of RP&L be $366.90
and the 7 other members of Common Council be $357.30 each for total compensation to the city's
elected officers during 1995 of $172,089.32.

Residents of the City of Richmond, Indiana are hereby notified pursuant to Indiana Code
5-3-1-2(i) that the following ordinance is on first reading before the Richmond, Indiana, Common
Council on August 15,1994 and is eligible for final passage on September 19, 1994, to wit:

COMPENSATION OF ALL ELECTED CITY OFFICERS FOR 1995[

Now, therefore, be it ordained by the Common Council of the city of Richmond, Indiana, that
annual compensation for 1995 of the Mayor be $51,407.98. the City Clerk be $36,573.94, the
President of Common Council be $9539.40, the Chairperson of k P&L be $9539.40, and the other
7 members of Common Council be $9289.80 each for total compensation to the City's elected
officers during 1995 of $172.089.32.[
