Home My Public Portal About059-1994 - APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF RICHORDINANCE NO. 59-1994 (2nd Reading Ammendment) AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF RICHMOND TO RECEIVE PAYMENTS FOR SERVICES TO BE RENDERED TO RICHMOND POWER & LIGHT IN 1995 WHEREAS Richmond Power & Light is a municipally -owned utility controlled by a Board consisting of the members of the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, pursuant to Indiana Code 8-1.5-3 -3 (a)(2), and WHEREAS the Board has general supervisory powers over the utility with responsibility for the detailed supervision vested in its Superintendent pursuant to Indiana Code 8 -1.5-3-4, and WHEREAS it is desirable to obtain personal services from certain executive departments of the City of Richmond even though Richmond Power & Light is not an executive department of said City, NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the following payments be made by Richmond Power & Light to the City General Fund during 1995 for financial, accounting, legal and technical services, to wit: 1. Ten percent of the following fees: A. Legal services contractual $120,000.00 B. Insurance services contractual 6.000.00 $126,000.00 - $12,600.00 2. Ten percent of the following salaries: A. City Clerk $36,574.00 B. Director of Administration 35,617.00 C. Executive Secretary-Dept.of Admin 18,278.00 D. Public Works Director 48,668.00 E. Public Works Secretary 19,519.00 F. City Controller 40,016.00 G. Deputy Controller 27,223.00 H. Building Inspector A 27,223.00 I. Building Inspector B 27,223.00 $280,341.00 - $28,035.00 3. Ten percent of the benefits and employer taxes related to said salaries which is determined to be twenty-five percent of $280,341.00 or $70,086.00 - $7,009.00 4.
