AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FOR
SERVICES FROM THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND TO THE
GENERAL FUND IN 1995
WHEREAS the Department of Public Works, Street Division, of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, operates out of the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund, and
WHEREAS said Division receives supervisory and technical services from the Department of
Public Works Staff and its Engineering Division, both of which are paid out of the
General Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that throughout 1995 payments shall be made from the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund to the
General Fund as follows:
A. Forty-five percent of the salary of the City Engineer, $47,467, and the
benefits and employer taxes related thereto, $11,867 - $26,700.00
B . Fifteen percent of the salaries of the Director and Secretary of the Department
of Public Works, $68,187, and the benefits and employer taxes
related thereto, $17,047 - $12,785.00
C. The total payment to be made hereunder - $39,485.00
