A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AT 205, 2119 213
AND 215 NORTH 6TH STREET
WHEREAS the zoning map designates 205, 211, 213 and 215 North 6th Street,
Richmond, Indiana, as R-3 One to Eight Family Residence District, and
WHEREAS it is desirable to change the zoning designation to C-3 Central Business
District to accomodate commercial uses,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the zoning designation of the real estate at 205, 211, 213 and 215 North 6th Street, being
Auditor's Map numbers 46-32-440-402.000-29, 46-32-440-403,000-29 and 46-32-440-404.00
-29, be and is hereby changed to C-3 Central Business District.

RE: Ordinance # 66 - 1994
The Richmond Advisory Plan Commission conducted a public hearing, Tuesday,
November 29, 1994, on the petition of City of Richmond; to rezone the property at
205, 211, 213 and 215 North 6th. Street, Richmond, Indiana from R-3 Multi -family
residential to C-3 retail commercial.
Notices were delivered to 17 surrounding property owners. Five (5) favorable
comments were returned to this office, none in opposition.
Richmond's Comprehensive Plan designates this area to be a retail commercial
district.
The Planning Commission voted 10 in favor, none opposed to recommend, to
Council, passage of Ordinance No. 66 - 1994.
