MILLIGAN City Attorney With the adoption of the 1995 City budget, the understanding that Carol Brady continues serving as Director of the Human Rights Commission requires amendment of Section 32.50 (c) (1) (I) of the Richmond Code. State statutes require residency within the City for various City employees and all elected office holders. State statutes and City ordinances require residency within the City for most appointed members of various commissions and boards. I am not aware of any other ordinance which requires a City employee to be a resident of the City. This ordinance can be adopted in a single meeting with motions to suspend the rules.
