A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE,
FLORIDA; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE WITH METRO-
DADE COUNTY TO RECEIVE AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
DRUG ABUSE RESISTANCE (D.A.R.E) PROGRAM GRANT;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village's Police Department is desirous of
establishing a D.A.R.E. program at the Key Biscayne Elementary
School and St. Agnes School;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF KEY
BISCAYNE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The mayor is hereby authorized to execute an
agreement on behalf of the Village with Metro -Dade County to receive
a D.A.R.E. program grant in the amount of $3,917.00.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
adoption.
