Home My Public Portal About087-1994 - APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1994 BUDGET - LORDINANCE NO. 87-1994 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1994 BUDGET WHEREAS Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, adopted a budget for calendar year 1994, and WHEREAS Common Council has determined it is necessary to transfer money from one major budget classification to another within a department or office, and WHEREAS the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1, and WHEREAS this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and without the approval of the State Board of Tax Commissioners, NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the 1994 budget be amended as follows: A. Local Road and Street Fund 1. Delete $25,417.29 from Hot and Cold Mix Existing account n�-o: 21-0=30=300-3002--2--23b33 -- 2. Add $25,417.29 to Other Contract Services Existing account no. 210-30-300-3014-3-3990 B. Pulic Transit_Fund 1. Delete $1,000.00 from Motor Equipment Existing account no. 605-57-571-5710-4-4440 2. Add $1,000.00 to Civilian PERF Pension Existing account no. 605-57-570-5701-1-1230 C. Aviation Fund 1. Delete $2,200.00 from Aviation Fuel Existing account no. 603-55-550-5501-2-2209 2. Add $1,600.00 to Group Medical Insurance Existing account no. 603-55-550-5501-1-1231 3. MILLIGAN City Attorney The above ordinance transfers $23,417.29 from "Hot and Cold Mix" in the Local Road and Street budget to "Other Contract Services" in the same budget. The funds will be used to pay for widening and overlay of Northwest 5th Street between Sheridan Street and the former CSX railway bed. This ordinance also transfers $1,000.00 from "Motor Equipment" in the Public Transit budget to "Civilian PERF Pension" in the same budget. The funds will cover PERF contributions for the remainder of the year. This ordinance also transfers $2,200.00 from "Aviation Fuel' in the Airport Operations budget to cover PERF contributions of $600.00 and Group Medical Insurance expenses of $1,600.00 in the same budget for the remainder of the year. The ordinance can be passed with all three readings in a single meeting upon suspension of rules to advance to second and third readings. Sincerely yours, Thomas S.
