Subject: The Brickman Group Semi -Monthly Collins Avenue Report for the Dates
of December 19, 2015 to December 31, 2015
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to transmit to you a scheduled semi-monthly
report which details the landscape services provided to Bal Harbour Village by The Brickman
Group.
This report provides information regarding the scheduled maintenance activities and any
additional services provided by Brickman such as, new plant installations and landscape
restoration work performed by the contractor beginning on Saturday, December 19, 2015
through Thursday, December 31, 2015.
Scheduled Maintenance Activities
During this period, Brickman provided turf mowing, hedge trimming, irrigation inspections,
annual flower planting, pressure cleaning, and daily litter/frond debris removal within the
entire corridor as detailed with the report.
Additional Services
In terms of additional services provided, Brickman installed Mexican heather and white
begonias along the center median of Collins Avenue; replaced pepperomia with bromeliads
at Haulover Bridge; installed white begonias along 96'h Street; and leveled the soil while
replacing damaged zoysia sod at Founders' Circle.
