ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING
RIGHT-OF-WAY FROM THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council accepts the following prescribed Right-of-Way from the
Missouri Department of Transportation.
A tract being Part of Inlot 24 in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole, State of Missouri, and being
a part of the tract described by the Deed Book 308, Page 687 Cole County Recorder's Office,
Jefferson City, Missouri and being more particularly described as follows:
From a 1 inch inside diameter pipe marking the southwesterly corner of Inlot 31 in the City of
Jefferson; thence N 48°04'44" W, 81.18 feet to the southeasterly corner of said Inlot 24 and a
point on the easterly Right-of-Way of Route 54 / 63 of The Missouri Highway and Transportation
Commission as per previously mentioned in Deed Book 308, Page 687, said point being
stationed as 32 feet right of Station 0+28 of Ramp 3A Baseline as per Missouri Highway and
Transportation Commission plans (herein referred to as MoDOT ROW) as for Project J--5
U054(258)R/W, Sheet#8, and THE POINT OF BEGINNING of this description, thence northerly
along the easterly said Inlot 24 line, N 42035'30" E, 77.03 feet to a Right-of-Way Marker on said
MoDOT ROW stationed as 70 feet right of Station 0+95 of Ramp 3A Baseline; thence westerly
parallel with the southerly line of said Inlot 24, N46000'18"W (N 45°16'45"W, Deed), 23.32 feet to
a Right-of-Way Marker on said MoDOT ROW stationed as 50 feet right of Station 1+07 of Ramp
3A Baseline; thence continuing N 46000'18"W, 23.51 feet to a point also being stationed as 28.92
feet right of station 1+19.07 of Ramp 3A Baseline, a 5/8 rebar with aluminum cap to be set upon
completion of proposed bicycle plaza construction, thence southerly parallel with the said easterly
line of said Inlot 24, S 42035'30"W, 49.00 feet to a point also being stationed as 5.18 feet right of
station 0+76.21 of Ramp 3A Baseline, to a cotton gin spindle to be set upon said bicycle plaza
construction; thence S 15°28'54" E, 55.16 feet to a 5/8 rebar with aluminum cap to be set upon
completion of proposed bicycle plaza construction and THE POINT OF BEGINNING of this
description. Containing 2950.3 square feet more or less. Thence as a reference of tie, from said
Point of Beginning, S 32°20'33"W, 504.12 feet to a 2" pipe at the southwest corner of Inlot 277 of
the City of Jefferson as referred to in said MoDOT plans Project #J--5 U054(258)R/W Sheet#8.
Basis of bearings are from Deed Book 628, Page 710, Cole County Recorder's Office, Jefferson
City, Missouri.
