Date Incident/Arrest Location 03/10/16 Theft 9801 Collins Avenue Bal Moral Condo Narrative / Comments The complainant advised the Bal Harbour police department that on March 06, she took off her Rolex watch and left it in the center console of her vehicle just prior to parking with the valet. The next morning she discovered the watch missing and notified the building manager. After waiting several days the victim requested a police report for the missing watch valued at $6,500.00 dollars. Utilizing the serial number the watch was entered into the National Crime Information Computer. The case was assigned to the Bal Harbour Investigations Unit. Date Incident/Arrest Location 03/11/16 Fraud 10275 Collins Avenue Narrative / Comments A Bal Harbour resident discovered that an unknown individual gained access into her bank account and withdrew funds in the amount of $9,659 dollars. The victim immediately closed her bank account in order to avoid further loss. Date Incident/Arrest Location 03/12/16 Suspicious Person 9703 Collins Avenue Narrative / Comments Bal Harbour officers were summoned to St. Regis Hotel regarding a female on the property panhandling and refusing to leave. Upon the Bal Harbour officers' arrival, the female had left the property. Bal Harbour officers canvassed the area and located the suspicious female walking near the 96 Street Beach Access. OVERTON Chief of Police Date Incident/Arrest Location 03/14/16 Suspicious Person 400 96t" Street Narrative / Comments Bal Harbour Police received a call of a suspicious male lying on the ground in the 400 block of 96 th Street. Bal Harbour officers arrived and located a male who appeared to be inebriated and asleep. As a precaution, the Bal Harbour officers requested Miami Dade Fire Rescue to respond. The suspicious male was awaken and evaluated by Miami Dade Fire Rescue. The male was disoriented and had a prominent odor of alcohol emanating from his person. A Bal Harbour officer transported the male to Aventura Hospital where he was admitted under the Marchman's Act. The male's mother was contacted and informed of the status of her son. Date Incident/Arrest Location 03/15/16 AOA W/ Bay Harbor Island Police 10300 Collins Avenue Narrative / Comments Bal Harbour officers received a call of a female walking north on the Haulover Bridge dressed in pajamas. Bal Harbour officers arrived and located the female. The female was disoriented and exhibited symptoms of mental illness. Moments later, Bay Harbor Island police arrived with the female's husband who confirmed the female's mental status and informed the officers she had walked away from her residence. The female was reunited with the husband and returned to their residence in Bay Harbor. Date Incident/Arrest Location 03/15/16 Traffic Arrest 9600 Harding Avenue Narrative / Comments While conducting a mandatory traffic enforcement detail at 9600 Harding Avenue, a Bal Harbour officer observed a motorist commit a traffic infraction. The Bal Harbour officer conducted a traffic stop for the infraction. Upon approaching the vehicle, the driver admitted he committed the infraction and told the officer he did not have a valid drivers' license. A background inquiry confirmed the driver's license was not valid, and was suspended. The driver was arrested and released on scene with a promise to appear at court. Completed by: Captain M.
