AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF RICHMOND
TO RECEIVE DONATIONS
WHEREAS the City of Richmond, Indiana, has the option of accepting or rejecting
donations for a specific purpose, and
WHEREAS the acceptance of a donation for a specific purpose constitutes the
appropriation of such property for the intended purpose,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the following donations be gratefully accepted and hereby acknowledged with the heart -felt
gratitude of the citizens of Richmond, to wit:
A. Police Department K-9 Project for the purchase of dogs and the specialized training of personnel
to utilize their services.
I.M. Hutton Co., Inc. - Cash Gift $1,000.00
B . Police Department Crime Prevention project for the purchase of specialized equipment and
signs.
1. Big Blue Stores, Inc. - Cash Gift $50.00
2. Richmond Square Mall Merchants Association - Cash Gift $50.00
Passed and adopted this 3rd day of May, 1993, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
