Subject: Gov. Scott Vetoes $500,000 Allocation to the Village for Stormwater
Improvements
On March 15, 2016, Ron Book, the Village's legal representative, informed the Administration
that Gov. Scott has pre-emptively released his veto list which included the $500,000 that the
Legislature had allocated to the Village's Storm Water Improvements Project.
Despite this disappointing result, the Administration will continue efforts to persuade the State
to re -consider the allocation next year, while alternatively seeking other sources of funding
for the project.
