RESOLUTION NO. 2004.150
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE
MAINTENANCE OF THE LYNWOOD SEWER SYSTEM
PROJECT TO EMPIRE PIPE CLEANING & EQUIPMENT, INC.
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City sewer system consists of 406,000 linear feet of sewer
WHEREAS, the sewer system is in need of a cleaning; and
WHEREAS, bids were solicited and six proposals were received from qualified
sewer cleaning contractors; and
bids; and
WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the bids, checked all references, and ranked the
WHEREAS, Empire Pipe Cleaning & Equipment, Inc. is the apparent lowest
bidder and possesses the qualifications and experience necessary to perform the services
required.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1: The City Council approves award of a contract to Empire Pipe
Cleaning & Equipment, Inc. to clean 228,000 linear feet of City sewer pipelines with necessary
televising for a total of $100,984.00
Section 2: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the contract
agreement with Empire Pipe Cleaning & Equipment, Inc.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of September 2004.
