A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROPRIATING FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING
THE INFORMAL BIDDING PROCESS FOR THE CHRISTMAS
DECORATION PROJECT, FISCAL YEAR 2004 - 2005
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to implement the Christmas Decoration Project
for Fiscal Year 2004 - 2005; and
WHEREAS, said project cost estimate is $ 21,000.00; and
WHEREAS, General Fund is the only available funding source that can be used for
said project; and
WHEREAS, considering time limitation, this project can be done more efficiently
and economically through an informal bidding process; and
WHEREAS, section 6-3.3c of the Lynwood Municipal Code allows the authorization
of said bidding procedure by City Council's 4/5 vote.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood as
follows:
Sections 1: That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to make the following
funds appropriation and transfer:
TRANSFER FROM

Unappropriated General Fund
$21,000.00
Street Maintenance Division
Account # 03-4447-4220
$21,000.00
Section 2: That the City Council approves the informal bidding process for this project by
a minimum 4/5 vote. ~
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
