A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT AGREEEMNT WITH
ST. FRANCIS MEDICAL CENTER FOR THE USE
OF PUBLIC PARKING FACILITIES AT THE NATATORIUM
AND ON CESAR CHAVEZ LANE
WHEREAS, on September 7, 2004, the City Council reviewed and approved St.
Francis Medical Cemer's (SFMC) proposal for the use of certain number of parking
spaces in the Natatorium parking lot and on Cesar Chavez Lane between Birch Avenue
and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the City Council also directed staff to prepare the necessary contract
agreement and bring back for its review and approval; and
WHEREAS, the contract agreement has been reviewed by the City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Agreement with St.
Francis Medical Center relative to the use of certain public parking facilities in the
Natatorium parking lot and on Cesar Chavez Lane between Birch Avenue and Martin
Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
SECTION 2. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
