Lundy, President Richmond Common Council Richmond, IN 47374 RE: Ordinance No. 54-1993 Dear Ms. Lundy: Please advise the members of Common Council that the Richmond Advisory Plan Commission conducted a public hearing, Tuesday, July 27, 1993, on the petition of Claude T. Cason, Jr., owner; Doug Robbins, agent; requesting a rezoning from C-4 General Business District and M-2 General Industrial District to M-2 General Industrial District to allow full industrial utilization and expansion of property located at 4810 Woodside Drive. Five notices were sent to surrounding property owners. One was returned to this office, in favor of the request and none were returned opposed. Planning Staff recommended approval of the request because the parcel is divided into two different zoning classifications, thereby creating an unnecessary burden on full and proper utilization of the property. The surrounding properties are zoned M- 2, thus this request would be compatible with the area's development.
