82 -1 Authorizing and Directing Town Clerk to sign in the name of
and on behalf of the Town of G. S. Fla., any forms or app-
lications directed to the Dept. of Transportation.
82 -2 Approving the efforts of the Fla. League of Cities to se-
cure property tax relief for the people of Fla. and an alt-
ernate, growing source of revenue for local governments through
a 1� statewide increase in sales tax and urging the Florida
legislature to enact legislation emboyding the property tax
relief and local government assistance program of the Fla.
League of Cities.

82 -4 Petitioning the Board of County Commissioners of P. B Cty.
pursuant to section 126.01 (6) (a) and (7) Fla Statutes
(1979) to provide relief from taxes unlawfully levied upon
property situate within the Town of G. S. to finance services
rendered specially for the benefit of the property or resi-
dents in unincorporated areas of P. B. Cty by remitting to the
Town of G. S. the identified cost of such services levied and
collected during 1978 - 1982 etc.
82 -5 Opposing casino gambling in the State of Florida.
82 -6 Expressing its strong opposition to the transfer to the City
of Delray Beach of the responsibility for operation and main-
tenance of northeast Eighth Street from Swinton Avenue to SR
AIA including the drawbridge over the intracoastal waterway
and urging reconsideration and the rescinding of this transfer
providing for furnishing copies of this resolution.
82 -7 Identifying services rendered by P. B. Cty which provide no
real and substantial benefit to property or residents within
the Town of G. S. and which are financed from countywide rev-
enues and Ad Valorem taxes: Petitioning the board of Cty
Commissioners of P. B. Cty, Fla to develop appropriate mech-
anisms to finance such services pursuant to section 125.01
(6) (a) and (7) Florida statutes; directing the Town Clerk
to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the Board
of County Commissioners of P. B. Cty, Fla.
82 -8 Providing for adoption of a budget for the Town's fiscal year
commencing October 1, 1982, and ending on September 30, 1983.
Appropriating the net revenue of the water fund to the general
fund for the fiscal year commencing October 11 1982 and ending
on September 30, 1983.
RESOLUTIONS 1982
82 -9 Establishing a 4.2473 Mill Tax levy against the assessed valua-
tions of all taxable real and personal properties within the
corporate limits of said Town of G. S. for the year 1982.
82 -10 Amending the present pension plan of the Town by providing that
contributions of employees shall be voluntary rather than man-
datory.
