AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FIXING THE ANNUAL COMPENSATION
OF ALL ELECTED CITY OFFICERS FOR 1994
WHEREAS Indiana Code 34-4-7-2 requires Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, to fix the annual compensation of all elected city officers by ordinance,
and
WHEREAS this ordinance has been published two times in the Palladium -Item newspaper,
Richmond, Indiana, with the first such publication taking place Friday, July 23,
1993, and the second such publication taking place Friday, July 30, 1993, and
WHEREAS such first publication took place at least 30 days before final passage hereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that bi-weekly compensation for 1994 of the Mayor be $1,977.23, the City Clerk be
$1,406.69, the President of Common Council be $366.92, the Chairperson of RP&L be $366.92
and the 7 other members of Common Council be $357.31 each for total compensation to the city's
elected officers during 1994 of $172,092.00.
Passed and adopted this 20th day of September, 1993, by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana.
