AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1993 BUDGET
WHEREAS the Fire and Police Pensions were funded as required by the Indiana Code for the
year 1993, and
WHEREAS year to date experience shows the number of Firefighters and Police Officers
exercising retirement rights to be less than the required projections, and
WHEREAS it is desirable to remove the overfunded portion from said accounts in the 1993
Budget,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the 1993 budget be amended as follows:
A. Delete $127,875.00 from Fire Pension Fund
No. 8 01-60- 600- 6001-1-1313
B. Delete $113,177.00 from Police Pension Fund
No. 802-61-610-6101-1-1313
Passed and adopted this 16th day of August, 1993, by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana.
