Narrative / Comments
While conducting a check of Frontage Road and the North Municipal Lot, a Bal Harbour police
officer located a vehicle which had not paid to park as required. The officer made contact with the

suspected marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The driver voluntarily admitted that he had drug
paraphernalia in his vehicle which contained marijuana residue. The Bal Harbour K9 officer and
his detector dog conducted a search of the vehicle but did not locate additional narcotics. The K9
did give a positive alert to the paraphernalia in the vehicle. After conducting local and national
criminal history check, the driver was arrested. The passenger's criminal history check revealed
an open bench warrant for Disorderly Conduct; therefore he also was arrested and transported to
Miami Dade County Jail. All contraband was impounded and placed in the Bal Harbour Police
