ORDINANCE NO. 70 -310
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
AMENDING SECTION 2715.1 OF THE TEMPLE
CITY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO COMMIS-
SIONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. SECTION 2715.1 of the Temple City Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. Sec. 2715.1. Same. Tenure.
(a) Every member of every commission shall
serve at the pleasure of the City Council and
may be removed at any time with or w:ithout.cause
by majority vote of the _City Council ". The term
of all members of all commissions is'hereby set
at two : (2) years dating from July 1st as set
forth in paragraph (b), anything else in this
Municipal. Code ..to the contrary notwithstanding;
and to the extent any sections are in conflict
herewith the same are hereby superseded.
(b) To implement the above provisions,
those appointments currently made to commissions
which expire within a three -month period follow -
ing June 30th, shall be considered to have
expired on June 30th of the same year; those
appointments which expire within a nine -month
period prior to June 30th shall be considered
to expire on June 30th following..
SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to
be published in the Temple City Times, a newspaper, printed,
published and generally circulated in this City..
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1st day of September,
1970.

meeting of said Council held on the 1st day of
September 1970, by the following vote of the
