Subject: Rescheduled Million Orchid Project Ceremonial Planting on August 31,
2016
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to provide you with an update to the
ceremonial planting of three hundred (300) rare orchids which was originally July 21, 2016 and
cancelled due to weather. The new date for this event is Wednesday August 31, 2016 from
9:30 am until 1:00 pm.
The planting will occur along the vegetation area beginning immediately East of the Ritz
Carlton Hotel and moving towards the South.
