SPECIAL MEETING
May 2, 2006
The Moab City Council held a Special Meeting on the above date at the
Council Chambers of Moab City Offices, located at 217 East Center
Street, Moab, Utah. Mayor David L. Sakrison called the Special
Meeting to order at 7:06 PM. In attendance were Councilmembers
Gregg Stucki, Kyle Bailey and Jeffrey Davis. Also in attendance were
City Manager Donna Metzler, City Recorder Rachel Ellison, Police
Chief Mike Navarre and Police Lieutenant Scott Mallon.
Councilmember Bailey moved to award the City Center Hallway
Construction Bid to Guerrero Construction in the amount of $69,440.00.
Councilmember Davis seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0
aye.
Councilmember Bailey moved to approve the City Center Hallway
Construction Project Contract. Councilmember Stucki seconded the
motion. The motion carried 3-0 aye.
Councilmember Davis moved to award the 2006 Concrete Sidewalk
Project to Ben Byrd Construction L.L.C. in the amount of $35,100.
Councilmember Stucki seconded the motion. Councilmember Bailey
stated that Ben Byrd was his son-in-law. The motion carried 3-0 aye by
a roll -call -vote.

Councilmember Stucki moved to approve the 2006 Concrete Sidewalk 2006 CONCRETE SIDEWALK PROJECT
Project Contract. Councilmember Davis seconded the motion. The CONTRACT, APPROVED
motion carried 3-0 aye.
City Manager Metzler made a presentation regarding the proposed
budget for fiscal year 2006/2007. Discussion followed.
Mayor Sakrison adjourned the Special Meeting at 8:22 PM.
