AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM
SIA FOUNDATION, INC.
WHEREAS, Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc., through its program SIA Foundation,
Inc., has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond through the Richmond Police Department desires to
submit a grant application to help with the expenses of the Fire/Police
Training Facility; and
WHEREAS, no local match is required for this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
1. The City of Richmond Police Department is hereby authorized to submit a
grant application to SIA Foundation, Inc., to assist with the expenses of the Fire/Police
Training Facility.
2. The City of Richmond Police Department is authorized to accept said grant
funding in an amount up to Ten Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($10,000.00).
3. Said funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond, shall be appropriated to assist
with the expenses of the Fire/Police Training Facility.
Passed and adopted this _2nd day of _April , 2007 by the Common Council of
the City of Richmond, Indiana.
