y Code Enforcement E
NarrativAJ Comments
Code Enforcement in conjunction with Public Works continues to check the entire Village for areas
of standing water in regards to Zika virus prevention efforts. They continue to visit all construction
sites at least twice weekly, maintaining contact with the contractors to immediately address areas
of concern. A code warning was issued to the Suntrust Bank for a dumpster in disrepair.
Additionally, two warnings were issued inside the Bal Harbour Shops to Michelli and Brodson
Construction for dumpsters which were left uncovered after work hours. All other construction sites
were found to be in compliance this week.
Efforts continue within the Gated Community; a code violation was issued to a property after they
failed to correct graffiti after being warned last week. An appearance code violation was issued to
a construction site. Also, a water heater was found to have been illegally dumped near a vacant
lot. The code officer coordinated with our solid waste provider to have the water heater removed
expeditiously.
