AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY RECLASSIFYING AND REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM ZONE R -1 TO
R -2 (CASE NO. 70 -326)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds and determines that
the zone change and reclassification hereinafter set forth
was initiated by the Planning Commission and has been pro-
cessed in the manner and means set forth by State law and
City ordinance and is deemed to be in the public interest.
SECTION 2. Sections 9160 and 9161 of the Temple City
Zoning Code and the zoning map adopted thereby are hereby
amended to reclassify and rezone the following described
property from R -1 to R -2:
Lot 1, Parcel 1, Block "L ", Santa Anita Land
Co.'s Tract, Book 6, p. 137 of Maps in the
Office of the County Recorder, County of Los
Angeles, State of California (More commonly
known as 9240 E. Longden•Avenue, Temple City).
SECTION 3. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same
to be published in the Temple City Times, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published and circulated in
the City of Temple City.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15thday of December
1970.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being
Ordinance No. 70 -316, was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Temple City, held on the 1st
day of December, 1970, and was duly passed, approved and
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the 15th day of December , 1970,
by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: COUNCILMEN- Briggs, Harker, Tyrell, Merritt
NOES: COUNCILMEN- None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN- Gilbertson
