Subject: Holiday Lighting Ceremony
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to provide you details regarding the Holiday
Lighting Ceremony scheduled for 6:00 PM on Monday, November 14 at Founders' Circle.
The Lighting Ceremony will begin with a Champagne sabering (provided by the Butler
Corps at the St. Regis Hotel); hors d'oeuvres, refreshments and bubbly will be served and
there will be music (students from Ruth K. Broad K-8 and from the Hebrew Academy will
perform). The Mayor and Village Council will then officially "light" all of Collins Avenue.
Attached is a copy of the invitation which has been sent to residents electronically with
hard copies provided to condominium buildings throughout the Village.
