WHEREAS, the adoption of Resolution No. 3607 will designate Friday, June 19,
2020 as a Special Holiday, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees would like to confirm its intention to recognize
the importance and significance of Juneteenth Day by declaring June 19, 2020, as a holiday, and
WHEREAS, the Executive Director has the authority to designate Special Holidays
with approval of the Board of Trustees per The MSD Civil Service Rules, July 2017, Section
13.6.a.
WHEREAS, the Executive Director has requested the designation of Friday, June
19, 2020 as a Special Holiday, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT THAT, Friday, June 19, 2020 is
designated as a Special Holiday.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on July 9, 2020.
