A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE,
FLORIDA; COMMENDING THE ISLAND GARDEN CLUB FOR
THEIR EFFORTS IN BEAUTIFYING THE VILLAGE;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on August 24, 1992, Hurricane Andrew caused extensive
damage to the vegetation within the Village of Key Biscayne; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the damage caused by the hurricane, the
Island Garden Club of Key Biscayne planted twenty-eight Golden
Poinciana trees within the Village; and
WHEREAS, the Island Garden Club has substantially contributed
to the beautification efforts of the Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF KEY
BISCAYNE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Village Council commends the Island Garden
Club and its members for their contribution to the beautification
of the Village of Key Biscayne.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of February , 1994.
